In God We Trust mission
It is Pay back time
WE THINK THIS IS A GREAT IDEA. WE’LL START WRITING IT ON THE FRONT OF OUR ENVELOPES, TOO! ! Including Bills
You may have heard in the news that a couple of Post Offices in Texashave been forced to take down small posters that say
‘IN GOD WETRUST‘ The law, they say, is being violated.
Anyway, we heard proposed on a radio station show, that we should all write ‘IN GODWE TRUST’
on the back of all our mail. After all, that’s our National Motto, and it’s on all the money we use to buy those stamps. We think it’s a wonderful idea.
We must take back our nation from all the people who think that anything that offends them should be removed.
If you like this idea, please pass it on and DO IT. The idea of writing or stamping
‘IN GOD WE TRUST‘ on our envelopes sounds good to us . WE’RE HAVING A STAMP MADE TOO! Heck, lets use it as our signature on e-mails too!
It’s been reported that 86% of Americans believe in God. Therefore, we have a very hard time understanding why there’s such a mess about having ‘In God We Trust!’ on our money and having God in the pledge of Allegiance.
Could it be that WE just need to take action and tell the 14% to ‘sit down and shut up’?
If you agree, pass this on, if not, delete!!! BUT REMEMBER IF YOU DELETE THIS,thats 1 reason why this world is in the mess we’re in now.WE SIT BACK & LET IT HAPPEN!!

Forgetting What Is Behind;
My father had a way of jolting me out of self pity or any situations whether natural or self inflicted.
By using words that landed on my mind like a ton of bricks
On Life he once told me "Son, you’ve got to learn to handle life like fish eater: spit the bones and swallow the meat"
Meaning you cant continulaly allow all the failures of yesterday dictate your future
Youve got to look at each day as Gods gift and utilise it to its maximum doing what is constructive
Pressing Toward The Goal
I believe in the saying…" He who seeks for altittude must first check attitude"
When I was learning flying at what was then Orange County airport in California,(Now John Wayne Airport) my Christian pilot instructor told me that if I was afraid of hights I would never fly. If that small Cessna 150 could have spoken it would tell you my greatest fears were not on the ground but up there in the blue yonder
I Practiced and practiced and before I knew it, my challenges changed to learning flight configurations and before long all he did was sit there watching and correcting me as I flew
One more thing I learned about planes is that taking off is easy but landing that plane is when all the experiences come to play because
gravity like doubts will always be against you
Faith is also a constant practice, we need it because without it we are like a bird without a wing or like a runner without legs
Let us press on.Let us Pray without ceasing Let us keep our eyes of faith on him who said.."I’ll never leave thee nor forsake thee"
Now read bellow
There was a man who had worked all his life, had saved all of his money, and was a real "miser" when it came to his money.
Just before he died, he said to his wife…"When I die, I want you to take all my money and put it in the casket with me. I want to take my money to the afterlife with me."
And so he got his wife to promise him, with all of her heart, that when he died, she would put all of the money into the casket with him.
Well, he died. He was stretched out in the casket, his wife was sitting there – dressed in black, and her friend was sitting next to her. When they finished the ceremony, and just before the undertakers got ready to close the casket, the wife said,
"Wait just a moment!"
She had a small metal box with her; she came over with the box and put it in the casket. Then the undertakers locked the casket down and they rolled it away. So her friend said,
"Girl, I know you were not fool enough to put all that money in there with your husband."
The loyal wife replied, "Listen, I’m a Christian; I cannot go back on my word. I promised him that I was going to put that money into the casket with him."
You mean to tell me you put that money in the casket with him!?!?!?"
"I sure did," said the wife. "I got it all together, put it into my account, and wrote him a cheque…. If he can cash it, then he can spend it!!!!!!!."
PURPOSE OF THE CHRISTIAN CHURCH ON EARTH ?..Isaiah 61:1-3
To answer this question let the scripture bellow speak;
Reasons 1.To preach good news…Theres bad news all arround only the church, only the christian has good news
2.To Bind up the brokenhearted…the christian is like a doctor the church a hospital
3.Proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners…Funny how even a prisoner who finds Christ becomes free behind bars but the wors bars are the bars of sin binding Gods people
4.Proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God,….Yes indeed the World needs hope to face another day, they need to know that God is still alive and capable to lift them out of their pain and despair tyo all who seek HIM
5.Provide for those who grieve in Zion…Church, Chriastian you are here to be Gods hand extended Gods lips speaking hope to the hopeless
6. To bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes…It always suprises me when I meet someone who has lost hope one wallowing in their sorrow and after words from Gods promise book(The Bible) they rise above it all and a glow comes over them, wow!!
7.To Bestow on them praise instead of a spirit of despair….Have you ever noticed how a song fo Gods praise can change your mood when you are sad, praise him when you are sad, just try it and see what happens
8.To display of his (Gods) splendor….Yes here on earth, that is where they need to know that God cares
Note; we dont proovide the splendor God Himself does it, all we have to do is reach them for him and leave the rest to HIM
This little light of mine I’m gonna let it shine
Let shine let it shine let it shine

Seven Kingdom Principles of Choice
In his best-selling book Rediscovering the Kingdom, Myles Munroe made a compelling case that the kingdom of God is the true message of the gospel and the only message that Jesus preached. Now, in Kingdom Principles, the second book in the "Kingdom" series, Munroe insists that we cannot appropriate and enjoy the benefits of God’s kingdom until we understand how it operates. Accordingly, he provides in this follow-up volume a detailed examination of the principles, concepts, and characteristics of the kingdom of God. As you study such principles as the Kingdom concepts of kings, lord, territory, law, citizens, royal privilege, culture, economy and others, prepare for your thinking about God’s kingdom and mankind’s destiny to be radically transformed. Kingdom Principles will help you learn to think and act like a Kingdom citizen and the ruler God intended you to be. It will infuse your life as a believer with a new sense of excitement and purpose.
The following are some kingdom principles of choice and how they work in God’s kingdom. What is choice? What does God ask you to choose? How can you apply God’s principles to your choices and your will?.
Choice is extremely important in the Christian life. We choose to accept Jesus as our Savior and Lord, to follow him and become disciples. We choose to resist the evil one, and to ask God’s help so we don’t have to do it all alone.
The Israelites chose God and promised to obey Him, (Joshua 24:15, 16) but they found that promise hard to live up to.” But if you don’t want to worship the LORD, then choose right now! Will you worship the same idols your ancestors did? Or since you’re living on land that once belonged to the Amorites, maybe you’ll worship their gods. I won’t. My family and I are going to worship and obey the LORD! 16The people answered”
We could never worship other gods or stop worshiping the LORD.
– Joshua 24:15, 16
1"The LORD’S angel went from Gilgal to Bochim and gave the Israelites this message from the LORD: ‘I promised your ancestors that I would give this land to their families, and I brought your people here from Egypt. We made an agreement that I promised never to break, 2and you promised not to make any peace treaties with the other nations that live in the land. Besides that, you agreed to tear down the altars where they sacrifice to their idols. But you didn’t keep your promise.
3And so, I’ll stop helping you defeat your enemies. Instead, they will be there to trap you into worshiping their idols.’"
– Judges 2:1-3
Here are seven principles of choice that can help you choose to follow God and carry out your choice until the end.
1. You reap what you sow.
Jesus taught this in various parables, including the parable of the sower (Matthew 13:1-9). Paul gave the classic statement:
You cannot fool God, so don’t make a fool of yourself! You will harvest what you plant. – Galatians 6:7
2. With God, small makes big.
God takes small things, like our faith and our choices, and makes big things out of them.
31Jesus told them another story: The kingdom of heaven is like what happens when a farmer plants a mustard seed in a field. 32Although it is the smallest of all seeds, it grows larger than any garden plant and becomes a tree. Birds even come and nest on its branches.
— Matthew 13:31, 32
3. You are not the only sower.
Other people are sowing seeds that have an impact on your life, and the enemy of our souls is sowing seeds. But Jesus is faithful to watch and carry out His purposes in the end.
24Jesus then told them this story: The kingdom of heaven is like what happened when a farmer scattered good seed in a field. 25But while everyone was sleeping, an enemy came and scattered weed seeds in the field and then left. 26When the plants came up and began to ripen, the farmer’s servants could see the weeds. 27The servants came and asked, "Sir, didn’t you scatter good seed in your field? Where did these weeds come from?" 28"An enemy did this," he replied. His servants then asked, "Do you want us to go out and pull up the weeds?" 29"No!" he answered. "You might also pull up the wheat. 30Leave the weeds alone until harvest time. Then I’ll tell my workers to gather the weeds and tie them up and burn them. But I’ll have them store the wheat in my barn."
– Matthew 13:24-30
4. God gives gifts, you choose to use them.
God promises wisdom to those who ask, and gives it generously (James 1:5). He gave wisdom to Solomon, but while Solomon was able to speak wise sayings and to issue wise judgments to his people, He did not always behave wisely himself. The record of Solomon’s life shows that we must choose to use the gifts that God gives us.
"A few seeds make a small harvest, but a lot of seeds make a big harvest."
— 2 Corinthians 9:6
5. Choosing seed to sow is risky.
Those who must decide who is a false prophet and who is a true one, have to make a risky choice (Matthew 24:14-30). Elijah had to make a very risky choice on Mt. Carmel (1 Kings 18).
But choosing not to choose is also risky. We must step out and make a choice!
6. You must endure to the harvest.
The results of your choice may not be apparent as soon as you make it. You may need to wait to see the results.
God will bless you, if you don’t give up when your faith is being tested. He will reward you with a glorious life, just as he rewards everyone who loves him.
– James 1:12
God’s promises are often conditioned on obedience to his commands. This is because God’s commands are good, and show us a good way to live.
25You people of Israel accuse me of being unfair! But listen I’m not unfair; you are! 26If good people start doing evil, they must be put to death, because they have sinned. 27And if wicked people start doing right, they will save themselves from punishment. 28They will think about what they’ve done and stop sinning, and so they won’t be put to death. 29But you still say that I am unfair. You are the ones who have done wrong and are unfair! – Ezekiel 18:25-29
7. Grace overcomes the law of sowing and reaping.
Jesus illustrated this principle in his reaction to the woman at Simon’s feast (Luke 7:36-50). Those who forgive much, love much. God offers his forgiveness to sinners.
"But God proves his love for us in that while we still were sinners Christ died for us." — Romans 5:8 (NRSV)
Grace is offered while we are still sinners. We can break the chain of reaping and sowing where we or our parents have sown evil. God’s grace will break the chain and bring forgiveness and love.
"Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners." – 1 Timothy 1:15
Why Go To Church?
A Church goer wrote a letter to the editor of a newspaper and complained that it made no sense to go to church every Sunday. "I’ve gone for 30 years now," he wrote, "and in that time I have heard something like 3,000 sermons. But for the life of me, I can’t remember a single one of them. So, I think I’m wasting my time and the pastors are wasting theirs by giving sermons at all."’
This started a real controversy in the ‘Letters to the Editor’ column, much to the delight of the editor. It went on for weeks until someone wrote this clincher:
"I’ve been married for 30 years now. In that time my wife has cooked some 32,000 meals. But, for the life of me, I cannot recall the entire menu for a single one of those meals. But I do know this. They all nourished me and gave me the strength I needed to do my work. If my wife had not given me these meals, I would be physically dead today. Likewise, if I had not gone to church for nourishment, I would be spiritually dead today!"
Faith sees the invisible, believes the incredible and receives the impossible!
Thank God for our physical AND our spiritual nourishment!

Bionic Legs Help Miracle Crash Survivor Walk Again
Doctors at the China Rehabilitation Research Centre in Beijing have developed an egg cup-like casing for a miracle survivor who was cut in half in a freak accident back in 1995. It took 20 doctors to save his life and nobody thought he’d be able to do anything again, but when doctors at the China Rehabilitation Research Centre heard about his case they created these robotic legs for him. It’s always neat when technology is used for good.
Lord make me an instrument of peace!
As I read the scriptures bellow early this morning, the question occurred on my mind about what our duty as Christians is;
The question is-
If the Christian is not the peace keeper in our world then who is?
In a world where manipulation, confusion and malice rules, who should bring the balance if not the Christian?
I was beautifully surprised and pleased at the 2008 conference in Maryland as a Kenyan when I saw a church where the leadership was several major tribes of Kenya under the same roof in the spirit of unity
Please read the scriptures bellow and ask yourself this question
Am I a part of the solution in my world or am I part of the problem
Am I a plus or a minus in my neighborhood, village, town, city, country?
Can God count on me to be HIS ambassador of peace in a sick world?
When God looks at me does HE smile or frown

The Duck & the Devil
There was a little boy visiting his grandparents on their farm. He was given a slingshot to play with out in the woods. He practiced in the woods; but he could never hit the target. Getting a little discouraged, he headed back for dinner. As he was walking back he saw Grandma’s pet duck. Just out of impulse, he let the slingshot fly, hit the duck square in the head and killed it. He was shocked and grieved!
In a panic, he hid the dead duck in the wood pile; only to see his sister watching! Sally had seen it all, but she said nothing.
After lunch the next day Grandma said, ‘Sally, let’s wash the dishes’ But Sally said, ‘Grandma, Johnny told me he wanted to help in the kitchen.’ Then she whispered to him, ‘Remember the duck?’ So Johnny did the dishes.
Later that day, Grandpa asked if the children wanted to go fishing and Grandma said, ‘I’m sorry but I need Sally to help make supper.’ Sally just smiled and said, ‘Well that’s all right because Johnny told me he wanted to help’ She whispered again, ‘Remember the duck?’ So Sally went fishing and Johnny stayed to help
After several days of Johnny doing both his chores and Sally’s; he finally couldn’t stand it any longer. He came to Grandma and confessed that he had killed the duck.
Grandma knelt down, gave him a hug and said, ‘Sweetheart, I know. You see, I was standing at the window and I saw the whole thing, but because I love you, I forgave you. I was just wondering how long you would let Sally make a slave of you.’
Thought for the day and every day thereafter?
Whatever is in your past, whatever you have done… and the devil keeps throwing it up in your face (lying, cheating, debt, fear, bad habits, hatred, anger, bitterness, etc.)…whatever it is…You need to know that God was standing at the window and He saw the wholething. He has seenyour whole life. He wants you to know that He loves you and that youare forgiven.
He’s just wondering how long you will let the devil make a slave of you. The great thing about God is that when you ask forforgiveness; He not only forgives you, but He forgets. It is by God’s grace and mercy that we are saved.
When Jesus died on the cross; he was thinking of you!
Never judge other persons scars, because you don’t know how they got them.
Some years ago, on a hot summer day in south Florida, a little boy decided to go for a swim in the old swimming hole that was behind his house. In a hurry to dive into the cool water, he ran out the back door, leaving behind shoes, socks, and shirt as he went.
He flew into the water, not realizing that as he swam toward the middle of the lake, an alligator was swimming toward the shore. In the house, his mother was looking out the window. She saw the two as they got closer and closer together. In utter fear, she ran toward the water, yelling to her son as loudly as she could. Hearing her voice, the little boy became alarmed, and made a U-turn to swim to his mother. It was too late. Just as he reached her, the alligator reached him. From the dock, the mother grabbed her little boy by the arms, just as the alligator snatched his legs. That began a very incredible tug-of-war between the two. The alligator was much stronger than the mother, but the mother was much too passionate to let go. Survived. His legs were extremely scarred by the vicious attack of the animal. On his arms, there were deep scratches where his mother’s fingernails dug into his flesh; in her effort to hang on to the son she loved. The newspaper reporter, who interviewed the boy after the trauma, asked the boy if he would show him his scars.
A farmer happened to drive by, heard her screams, raced from his truck, took aim, and shot the alligator. Remarkably, after weeks and weeks in the hospital, the little boy
The boy lifted his pant legs. Then, with obvious pride, he said to the reporter, "But look at my arms. I have great scars on my arms, too. I have them because my Mom wouldn’t let go." You and I can identify with that little boy.
We have scars, too. No, not from an alligator, but the scars of a painful past. Some of those scars are unsightly, and have caused us deep regret. But, some wounds, my friend, are because God has refused to let go. In the midst of your struggle, He’s been right there, holding on to you.
The Scripture teaches that God loves you. You are a child of God. He wants to protect you, and provide for you in every way. But, sometimes, we foolishly wade into dangerous situations, not knowing what lies ahead. The swimming hole of life is filled with peril and we forget that the enemy is waiting to attack. That is when the tug-of-war begins. If you have the scars of His love on your arms, be very, very grateful. He will not ever let you go.
Please pass this on to those you love. God has blessed you, so that you can be a blessing to others. You just never know where a person is in his/her life, and what they are going through.
Never judge other persons scars, because you don’t know how they got them.
Also, it is so important that we are not too selfish to receive the blessings of these messages without forwarding them to someone else.
Right now, someone needs to know that God loves them, and you love them too enough to not let them go!!!
God bless you!
DID YOU KNOW?
Easter is early this year. Easter is always the 1st Sunday after the 1st
full moon after the Spring Equinox (which is March 20). This dating of
Easter is based on the lunar calendar that Hebrew people used to identify
Passover, which is why it moves around on our Roman calendar.
Based on the above information, Easter actually can be one day earlier
(March 22) that is rare. Here’s the interesting information. This year is
the earliest Easter any of us will ever see the rest of our lives! And
only the most elderly of our population have ever seen it this early (95 years
old or above).
And none of us have ever, or will ever, see it a day earlier!
Here’s the facts:
1) The next time Easter will be this early (March 23) will be the year
2228 (220 years from now). The last time it was this early was 1913 (so
if you’re 95 or older, you are the only ones that were around for that!).
2) The next time it will be a day earlier, March 22, will be in the year
2285 (277 years from now). The last time it was on March 22 was 1818. So,
no one alive today has or will ever see it any earlier than this year!

JUST A WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT
This article blessed my heart and thought of sharing it with you as a
friend. Whatever you are going through, don't quit. Stay on course!
One day I decided to quit…I quit my job, my relationship, my spirituality… I wanted to quit my life.
I went to the woods to have one last talk with God.
"God", I asked, "Can you give me one good reason not to quit?"
His answer surprised me…"Look around", He said. "Do you see the fern and the bamboo?""Yes", I replied.
"When I planted the fern and the bamboo seeds, I took very good care of them.
I gave them light. I gave them water.
The fern quickly grew from the earth. Its brilliant green covered the floor.
Yet nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo.
In the second year the Fern grew more vibrant and plentiful.
And again, nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the
bamboo. He said."In year three there was still nothing from the bamboo seed.
But I would not quit. In year four, again, there was nothing from the bamboo seed. I would not quit." He said."Then in the fifth year a tiny sprout emerged from the earth. Compared to the fern it was seemingly small and insignificant…But just 6 months later the bamboo rose to over 100 feet tall. It had spent the five years growing roots. Those roots made it strong and gave it what it needed to survive. I would not give any of my creations a challenge it could not handle."He asked me. "Did you know, my child, that all this time you have been struggling, you have actually been growing roots".
"I would not quit on the bamboo. I will never quit on you."
"Don’t compare yourself to others."He said."The bamboo had a different Purpose than the fern. Yet they both make the forest beautiful."
"Your time will come", God said to me."You will rise high"
"How high should I rise?"I asked.
"How high will the bamboo rise?" He asked in return.
"As high as it can?" I questioned."Yes." He said, "Give me glory by rising as high as you can."I left the forest and brought back this story.
I hope these words can help you see that God will never give up on you.
Never, Never, Never Give up.
For the Christian Prayer is not an option but an opportunity.
stop quacking like ducks and start soaring like eagles
Years ago, my friend, Harvey Mackay, told me a wonderful story about a cab
driver that proved this point. He was waiting in line for a ride at the
airport. When a cab pulled up, the first thing Harvey noticed was that the
taxi was polished to a bright shine. Smartly dressed in a white shirt,
black tie, and freshly pressed black slacks, the cab driver jumped out and
rounded the car to open the back passenger door for Harvey . He handed my
friend a laminated card and said: "I’m Wally, your driver. While I’m
loading your bags in the trunk I’d like you to read my mission statement."
Taken aback, Harvey read the card. It said: Wally’s Mission Statement: To
get my customers to their destination in the quickest, safest and cheapest
way possible in a friendly environment.
This blew Harvey away. Especially when he noticed that the inside of the
cab matched the outside. Spotlessly clean! As he slid behind the wheel,
Wally said, "Would you like a cup of coffee? I have a thermos of regular
and one of decaf." My friend said jokingly, "No, I’d prefer a soft drink."
Wally smiled and said, "No problem. I have a cooler up front with regular
and Diet Coke, water and orange juice." Almost stuttering, Harvey said,
"I’ll take a Diet Coke." Handing him his drink, Wally said, "If you’d like
something to read, I have The Wall Street Journal, Time, Sports Illustrated
and USA Today."
As they were pulling away, Wally handed my friend another laminated card.
"These are the stations I get and the music they play, if you’d like to
listen to the radio." And as if that weren’t enough, Wally told Harvey that
he had the air conditioning on and asked if the temperature was comfortable
for him. Then he advised Harvey of the best route to his destination for
that time of day. He also let him know that he’d be happy to chat and tell
him about some of the sights or, if Harvey preferred, to leave him with his
"Tell me, Wally," my amazed friend asked the driver, "have you always
served customers like this?" Wally smiled into the rearview mirror. "No,
not always. In fact, it’s only been in the last two years. My first five
years driving, I spent most of my time complaining like all the rest of the
cabbies do. Then I heard the personal growth guru, Wayne Dyer, on the radio
one day. He had just written a book called You’ll See It When You Believe
It. Dyer said that if you get up in the morning expecting to have a bad
day, you’ll rarely disappoint yourself. He said, `Stop complaining!
Differentiate yourself from your competition. Don’t be a duck. Be an eagle.
Ducks quack and complain. Eagles soar above the crowd.’"
"That hit me right between the eyes," said Wally. "Dyer was really talking
about me. I was always quacking and complaining, so I decided to change my
attitude and become an eagle. I looked around at the other cabs and their
drivers. The cabs were dirty, the drivers were unfriendly, and the
customers were unhappy. So I decided to make some changes. I put in a few
at a time. When my customers responded well, I did more."
"I take it that has paid off for you," Harvey said. "It sure has," Wally
replied. "My first year as an eagle, I doubled my income from the previous
year. This year I’ll probably quadruple it. You were lucky to get me today.
I don’t sit at cabstands anymore. My customers call me for appointments on
my cell phone or leave a message on my answering machine. If I can’t pick
them up myself, I get a reliable cabbie friend to do it and I take a piece
of the action." Wally was phenomenal. He was running a limo service out of
a Yellow Cab.
I’ve probably told that story to more than fifty cab drivers over the
years, and only two took the idea and ran with it. Whenever I go to their
cities, I give them a call. The rest of the drivers quacked like ducks and
told me all the reasons they couldn’t do any of what I was suggesting.
Johnny the Bagger and Wally the Cab Driver made a different choice. They
decided to stop quacking like ducks and start soaring like eagles.
How about you?
