Turkana to English translator needed for documentary for international broadcast

| December 4, 2012 | 0 Comments

I am a production manager at the charity organisation, tve(Television for the Environment),where we are currently making a documentary about a young Kenyan man, who we have been filming since he was born back in 1992.

We are now seeking a Turkana speaker to help us to translate both old and new footage.

The work will require someone to sit with our film director & editor in the edit suite here in our production office in central London, for about 3-5 weeks (on and off) over December – January/February, to help them translate interviews while they are editing the footage. Due to the large volume of footage, we wouldn’t be able to send someone the videos to translate; they would definitely need to sit with us in our edit suite.

We are a registered charity but would of course be paying someone to undertake this work!

Please do send out this request to your contacts. They should feel free to contact me on my email (davina.rodrigues@tve.org.uk) if they are able to help us with this Turkana to English translation.

Many thanks for your time and assistance!

All the best,

Davina Rodrigues
