Margaret Kenyatta and Devolution and Planning Cabinet Secretary Anne Waiguru posed for a photo alongside Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohammed while in New York.
The trio are part of the delegation that accompanied Uhuru Kenyatta to the 70 session of United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). Environment Cabinet Secretary Judy Wakhungu was also in the frame.
While she is away, Anne Waiguru’s name has dominated the media space quite considerably following controversial remarks made by Machakos Senator Johnstone Muthama.
Muthama on Wednesday, September 23 claimed that Anne Waiguru has a secret affair with Uhuru Kenyatta and that is why she has been repeatedly shielded from corruption allegations.
Uhuru Kenyatta left on Thursday, September 25 for United States to attend the the United Nations General Assembly in which he is expected to meet several global leaders and discus bilateral talks.
