Finally October 2nd came to pass, and the Newsroom love birds, NTV’s Dennis Okari and KTN’s Betty Kyalo, finally tied the knot at a lavish outdoor event at the Marula Manor in Karen, Nairobi.
After six years of nurturing an epic love story, the couple invited close friends and relatives to witness their matrimony themed “Love Happens”.
The event was graced with attendances from popular personalities in the media industry among them, NTV’s Larry Madowo, Ken Mijungu, Carol Nderi, and other collegues.
The couple’s obvious love for cars was seen from how their names were christened on two Jaguar vehicle XF and XJ.
In creatively crafted words the couple exchanged vows likened to the slogans of their respective TV stations. From NTV’s Okari it was: I’ll be turning on your world, i have nothing to hide and from KTN’s Betty: Welcome home.
