LUPITA NYONGO’S BROTHER SET TO MAKE HOLLYWOOD DEBUT

Peter and Lupita NyongoLupita Nyong’o’s brother, Peter Nyong’o, is set make his Hollywood big screen acting debut next year.

Peter, 21, has been added to cast of an upcoming movie Nocturnal Animals which is an adaptation of a 1993 novel with the same name by Austin Wright.

It is not clear what role he will play in the movie but it is expected to be much smaller part than what her sister had with any of her movie roles.

The movie is directed by Tom Ford who is also a fashion designer credited with the remarkable turning around of Gucci, the Italian fashion and leather goods brand.

The movie will star Amy Adams and Jake Gyllenhaal. Kim Basinger, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Robert Aramayo co-star in the film.

According to the movie note on IMDB, Nocturnal Animals, revolves around a man whose family vacation turns violent and deadly.

It also continues to follow the story of Susan, who finds herself recalling her first marriage and confronting some dark truths about herself.

Peter shot into the limelight during the 2014 Oscar awards when the host Ellen Degeneres took a group selfie with several Hollywood stars and posted it on Twitter. Peter joined in on the photo partially blocking Angelina Jolie’s face.

The photo went on to become the most retweeted entertainment of 2014 with 3.3 million retweets. It was being retweeted at the rate of 255,000 times a minute.

Lupita won the best supporting actress award during the event for her role in the movie12 Years a Slave. She is set to feature in a new version of the Disney animated film The Jungle Book.

The movie will hit theatres in April 2016 and boasts a star-studded Hollywood cast. The partially live-action movie is a remake of the classic 1967 Disney animated feature but has a new feel with the advancement of technology.

The movie revolves around an orphaned boy who lives in the jungle and is raised by a black panther, a pack of wolves and a bear.
