We are saddened to announce the passing away of Mrs. Agnes Waithira Karanu of Mariira Village, Kigumo District, Muranga County that happened on 7th April, 2016 at a Thika Hospital following a protracted illness.
Mrs. Waithira was mother to Dr. Francis Nyagah Karanu, of Hillsborough, NJ but presently in Kansas City, Kansas, and many others living in Kenya.
She was mother in law to Virginia Wanjiku Karanu, Hillsborough, NJ among others, and grandma to Alex Karanu Nyagah and Laureen Waithira Nyagah of Toronto, Canada.
Family and friends are meeting at Abbey Hotel in Nairobi from 6.00 pm starting Monday, April 10th and at Thika Coconut Grill, as well as at their Mariira home.
The cortege will leave General Kago Funeral home, Thika with funeral planned for 12.00 pm on Friday April 15th, at their Mariira home.
