It is with deep sadness to announce the death of our mother Rose K. Mutongi that occurred on May 25, 2016 in Wangeyo village, Vihiga County, Kenya. Mrs. Rose was the wife to the late Hesbon Mutongi and mother to: Graham Mahonga Mutongi, Morris Egenya Mutongi, The late Befrey Kendeli, Edith Mbone Mutongi, Margareth Opanga, Florence Otiende, Stanley Asena Mutongi, Linet Kadi Mutongi, Dr. Kenda Mutongi, Vincent Mutongi, Patrick Mutongi
She was a grandma to many grand and great grand kids. Family and friends are meeting in Germantown – Maryland, Charlotte – North Carolina, Fairfax – Virginia and her residence in Wangeyo village, Vihiga County, Kenya. The cortege will leave Aga Khan Hospital, Kisumu and she will be buried on June 11, 2016 at her residence in Wangeyo village, Vihiga County, Kenya.
