18 Year-Old Kenyan woman is missing in Canada

Brampton– Officers from the 22 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau are seeking the assistance of the public to locate a missing 18 year-old female from Brampton.

Alice MATHU was last seen on Sunday, July 31, 2016, at approximately 9:00 p.m., by her friends.  At the time Ms. MATHU was acting somewhat irrationally and was left alone.   She was last seen in the area of Kennedy Road and Queen Street East, in Brampton.  She has not been seen since.

Alice MATHU is described as female, black, with a dark complexion and a short afro hair that may be coloured dark purple.  She is approximately 5’2” (157cm) tall and weighs 150 pounds (68kg).  Ms. MATHU was last seen wearing black sandals, a long, dark brown, African-style dress and a cream coloured sleeveless shirt with a drawing of an elephant.

Police and family are concerned for the safety and well-being of Alice MATHU as she does suffer from mental health problems and this absence is out of character for her.
