After the meeting, Alai posted photos of the session and disclosed that he went to visit Mr Odinga to discuss matters regarding ODM.
The pro-opposition blogger, who has of late been criticising the opposition, assured ODM of his support adding that he only criticizes what he loves it.
“Just met my father, mentor and friend. Discussing Chama (party) issues. Chama iko imara (the party is still in tact)! You can only criticize what you love,” he stated.
It was not clear what triggered the meeting or whether Alai was invited by the ODM chief. The meeting however raised varied reactions.
Some thought that the blogger had visited the former Prime Minister to apologise for his recent spate of attacks, with others questioning whether he had gone to seek for permission to vie for Embakasi East parliamentary seat, which he is rumoured to be eyeing.
Others expressed anger accusing him of being disloyal to the party by frequently lampooning ODM.
