Charity Ngilu yesterday expressed her dismay when she visited Kitui General Hospital and found no water or medicine.
All the while, about 50 TV screens hang in the various wards.

On Twitter, Hon. Ngilu wrote, “A visit to the Kitui General. Shocking details of a Hospital with over 50 television sets, but no Water or drugs.”
As Kenyans on Twitter condemned the twisted priorities, it was not lost among them that apart from being an MP of the same constituency for many years, Ngilu served as Minister of Water and Minister of Health.
Some wondered where she got the moral authority to talk of issues she should have changed during her time.
