– ODM has also branded 47 buses and over 800 vehicles after Jubilee unveiled 47 SUV’s
– ODM and Jubilee are scheduled to hold major events on the same day, September 10
Campaigns have officially kicked off, with coalition rivals battling it out with branded vehicles, helicopters and planning events the same day.
The coalition of Reforms and Democracy (CORD) has over 800 vehicles set to be used in the 2017 political campaigns.
Apart from the vehicles, CORD leader Raila Odinga also unveiled branded choppers that will be used for the campaigns ahead of the polls.
Both parties area also scheduled to hold events on the same day, Saturday, September 10. A major showdown is expected as the two parties battle for supremacy.
Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) is planning to hold a major rally in Mombasa county dubbed ’10 At 10′.
President Uhuru Kenyatta’s coalition will also launch Jubilee Party that at Safaricom Stadium Kasarani in Nairobi.
Jubilee has already purchased a building centre in Pangani, Nairobi and branded 47 Toyota Prados and buses ahead of the launch.
ODM deputy leader Hassan Joho is also expected to flag off 47 branded buses according to the director of Elections and Campaigns Junnet Mohammed.
ODM has also received 823 vehicles donated by party’s supporters which will also be branded for the event.
