Kakamega senator Boni Khalwale found himself on the wrong side of mourners after he brought up politics at a funeral.
Khalwale took the mic and started attacking Bungoma Governor Ken Lusaka, who was in attendance. He accused him of receiving money from Jubilee and misusing county funds for political reasons.
A huge crowd chanting luhya circumcision songs surged forward forcing him to cut short his speech. They demanded Khalwale be kicked out of the meeting for his disparaging remarks about their governor.
Khalwale was among leaders who had attended the funeral of Mama Dinah Mulati Nasike in Brigadier, Tongaren Constituency, Bungoma County.
