There was fanfare, song and dance as President Uhuru Kenyatta officially unveiled the new Jubilee Party which he will use to vie for the presidency in 2017. Accompanied by his deputy William Ruto, and First Lady Margaret Kenyatta among other dignitaries and party officials, Uhuru let his guard down in a jovial mood and giggled at jokes, danced with musicians and waved at his supporters as the new party began it’s new journey.
And as Nimrod Taabu reported, a number of politicians said the new party has given their political careers a new lease of life
