Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka Warns ODM of Major Move

Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka on Monday warned the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) of a pending declaration that he was about to make.

Addressing the media at his Karen home, Kalonzo stated that the Orange Party was rebranding and moving ahead after endorsing their presidential candidate and in turn, Wiper would take its major move.

“When I make a move which I intend to, please remember others have already beaten that trail,” Kalonzo warned.

Kalonzo noted that if he was the one doing what his ODM counterparts were doing, he would have been accused of breaking the party.

“I am quite sure… If it was Wiper doing what my brothers in ODM are doing… you would be screaming that Kalonzo is ruining the coalition,” the Wiper party leader told journalists.

The CORD co- principal divulged that Wiper would embark on a countrywide tour to strengthen itself, with tours in Meru and Tharaka Nithi being top of his priorites.

The Wiper party leader also said Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho had every right to declare his presidency in 2022.

Kalonzo revealed that Wiper would hold a major delegates conference at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi where they’re expected to name the flag bearer of Wiper.

Supporters from the CORD coalition will anticipate the decision, with political pundits noting that it could break the alliance especially after ODM made it very clear that  Raila Odinga must be on the ballot box in the upcoming General election.
