Kenyans took the first eight positions in the Amsterdam marathon on Sunday, lighting up social media by elated users.
Daniel Wanjiru led the pack followed by Sammy Kitwara and Marius Kimutai for a podium clean sweep.

Laban Korir finished fourth followed by Ezekiel Chebii, Felix Kandie, Geoffrey Kirui and Bernard Kipyego in that order.

Ethiopia’s Mule Wasihun and Abera Kuma were ninth and tenth respectively.

A picture of the results with eight Kenyan flags has been shared widely on social media, with some users getting witty with their comments.
