“Hear my cry, O God; Attend to my prayer. From the end of the earth I will cry to You, When my heart is overwhelmed; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For You have been a shelter for me, A strong tower from the enemy. I will abide in Your tabernacle forever; I will trust in the shelter of Your wings. I am greatly strengthened and secure because anytime, anywhere, in any condition I can call to Jesus, the Rock That is Higher Than I, and He is listening. I am so grateful that He is always higher and stronger and wiser than me or anyone or anything that threatens to overcome me. He cleansed me of ALL my sin and hopelessness. He is all-powerful, all-knowing, all-present and eternal. I confess that sometimes I have not been willing or able to cry out to Him in times of need, so I pray that His Spirit will always lead me to the Rock That is Higher Than I, and help me climb upon Him and cling to Him.
