President Uhuru Kenyatta today Visited soccer great and national hero Joe Kadenge at his home in South “B”, Nairobi after he expressed a wish to see him.
Kadenge is a patriot and embodies the commitment by our founding fathers to build one strong united nation. President Uhuru gave Kadenge an NHIF card so he and his family have access to medical care.
Uhuru thanked him for his service to Kenya and for the football and AFC Leopards replica shirt bearing his name and his famed number 7

A Visit to JOE KADENGE
1. President orders immediate operationalization of Heroes Council.
2. Shs.300m to be immediately allocated by Treasury as per the law established.
3. NHIF to cater for all hospital bills and to be lunked to the Heroes Council
4. Family gets Shs.2m to top their Shs.1.6m fundraising effort.
5. Joe Kadenge prays for President and First Lady and calls for a united Kenya. He hands them each a branded No.7 football Jersey, an autographed ball and a copy of his autobiography
