Speaking at his Sugoi home in Uasin Gishu County where he hosted thousands of residents and leaders for a thanks giving service he said Kenyans must shun violence irrespective of the leaders they support.

He called on Kenyans to exercise their democratic rights and vote in a peaceful manner and resist any attempts by politicians to incite them to violence in spite of who wins.

“We must not allow one person, one leader, one politician or one political party to endanger our home called Kenya, violence can never be an option in any circumstances,” he emphasized.

Ruto took the opportunity to enumerate the achievements of the Jubilee Administration since it took power in 2013 including tarmacking of 6,000-kilomteres of roads across the country.
