    Dear Respected Canon Dr. Karanja,

Congratulations on your book launch. I sincerely hope it goes well! Maybe a bit too soon to think about your next book, but given the ‘unjust laws’ on Marriage (2014 Marriage Act, which is just really legalization of fornication and adultery) in Kenya, perhaps your next book should be called:

“For Kenyan Men: Bend without Abandoning your Wife & Children to Get Other Wives & Other Children since Your Can’t Even Support the Ones you Have Already” or “The Grass is Not ALways Greener on the Other Side of the Fence”

Whatever the title, Kenyan men are out of control, whether with the ‘secret’ marriage law to back them up. But not in America! If Kenyan wives find out they have ‘secret’ marriages back in Kenya, they should make sure the men know this is still illegal in America (secret or not). Also, don’t expect to get an American wife’s Social Security if you are married to someone else as well since this makes your ability to do so null and void, Kenyan men with American Green Cards or citizenshp. Either way, it is illegal and you will be getting money fron U.S. govt. illegally and have to pay it back or serve time in jail. Don’t think you can play both sides of the fence in the U.S. You will be found out. So, perhaps if you want to live on the wild side (and hopefully the church will not bless your marriages like they usually do in Kenya) you should go hide behind the ‘unjust laws’ of Kenya until someone overturns them since this law is totally unConstitutional according to Kenya’s Constitution. I dare not say who signed it into law.

This is a must-read book for all immigrants, especially those from
Africa and the African diaspora. Rev. Canon Dr. John Karanja
has done it again! He captures some of the immigrant family dynamics
that need to be told, read, recorded, evaluated, and practiced with the
tools of the 21st Century. This message is vital for our survival as a
    community.
