Dear Friends and Family:

Education is the first investment for each child globally. Throughout the month of May, in honor of my birthday today, May 1st, and my late sister Bekki, please help support 170 students in a Kenyan village meet their dream meet their dream for education. In collaboration with The Bekki Foundation, our goal is to raise $10,000 (ten thousand dollars) towards furnishing classrooms of preschool children to 8th grade. The cost for one desk is $60. Every donation of $60 will provide a child with a desk.

As you can see these students currently sit directly on the mud floor as there are no desks. With classrooms made of iron sheets, the students are not only subjected to the muddy floors during the rainy seasons and to harsh weather elements dangerous heat in the dry season. In addition to the desks; your donation to The Bekki Foundation would be geared towards completing two classrooms for preschool and first grade students, who are most vulnerable. Your support of this initiative would be a tremendous help and would leave a lasting impact on these children’s lives

At the Bekki Foundation, we believe in enhancing communities around us in any way possible. This, however, starts by ensuring that the foundations of our communities are well established, by first investing in our children. We have identified the education of our children as a crucial component in enhancing rural communities. Please help us meet our goal of $10,000 by donating to link below:
