Well, in a quick rejoinder, Junet Mohamed defended his team, claiming that NASA decided to file the petition at night because IEBC announced the results at night. Junet added that the Supreme Court should also deliver its ruling at night. ‘’We’re filing at night because IEBC announced results at night and Supreme Court should announce the results at night.’’Junet said while speaking to journalists outside the Supreme Court in Nairobi.

NASA lawyers and politicians arrived at the Supreme court at round 10:40 pm Friday carrying the documents and were received by court officials. They were taken through the filing process and about one hour later, Raila and his running mate and NASA co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka as well as Moses Wetangula and Musalia Mudavadi arrived with more documents amidst cheers from the waiting group.
