Uhuru to give Ababu, Lusaka jobs for standing firm, says Wamalwa

Former Bungoma governor Ken Lusaka Former Budalangi MP Ababu Namwamba will be awarded state jobs, Water CS Eugene Wamalwa has said.

“Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto never forget their friends and you will soon see for yourselves ”Wamalwa said.

He spoke at Milimani in Kitale on Wednesday during the fourteenth anniversary of the late vice president Michael Wamalwa.

He said it was difficult for Ababu to get his seat as his constituency borders Bondo which has a huge support to NASA leader Raila Odinga.

“It was really a hard task for my brother Ababu to oppose Raila in his area but we tried although he lost his seat, he will have a state job” said Wamalwa.

Wamalwa was however happy that the team he led to campaign for jubilee in western Kenya garnered many seats in areas perceived to be ODM zones.

“As a Luhya team leader in Jubilee, I am happy that this time round we area not passengers in Jubilee but partners because we have our stake in the government “said Wamalwa.

The CS praised NASA for taking election petition to supreme court saying this will contain violence.

“We must salute them for accepting to take the electoral results matters to the court this menas as a country, we are moving to the direction where our institutions should be respected”he said.

He asked the NASA team to however stop commenting on the matter and instaed wait for the courts ruling.

He asked Ford Kenya party leader Moses Wetangula to stop commenting on how the judges at the court should rule on their case.

The function was attended by Lusaka,Ababu,Trans Nzoia women representative Janet Nangabo, Sirisia MP John Waluke,Kimilili’s Didmus Barasa,Nakholo’s Emmanuel Wangwe,Benjamin Washali,Robert Pukose,former MPs David Wafula and Musikari Kombo.

Lusaka said:”it is better for a fly to die in milk than in the toilet ,I am happy I died in the milk and I will still enjoy because I am better than those who died in toilets”.
