“Take that bag. There’s Sh12milllion inside there,” the DP told them after they put the value of one goat at Sh12,000.

Ruto said the amount was a collective contribution from President Uhuru Kenyatta, Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen,  among other friends who wanted goats for the festive season.

The DP bought the goats when he presided over the 5th Kimalel Cultural Festival and Goat Auction in Baringo county.

Sh24.9 million was raised during the auction from the sale of 2,081 goats.
