A retired Nakuru banker is the new millionaire in town after she won a midweek jackpot from SportPesa totalling a whooping Sh27 million.
Unveiling the winner, the gaming company revealed that Violet Wandaho Gathu was the new Jackpot winner after she correctly predicted the outcome of 13 games.
Gathu’s win comes under a month after a man walked away with a cool Sh230 million. The biggest amount ever to be paid out by any lottery in Kenya.
Gordon Ogada Paul was all smiles as he collected his dummy check after he correctly predicted 17 out of the 17 Mega Jackpot games.
Ogada was flanked by Samuel Abisai, the first lucky Kenyan to win the mega jackpot which at the time stood at a whooping Sh221 million.
