It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Ogega Gesicho Kakonge, who passed on in his sleep on September 30, 2014. He was a longtime resident of Hamilton, Ontarioand had just moved to Toronto a few years ago.
Friends and family are meeting to complete arrangements for a fundraiser to help defrayfuneral home costs and expenses. Details regarding funeral service and fundraising will be provided in due course.
He was the son of Ambassador Dr. John Otachi Kakonge (Geneva), and Mary Moraa Gesicho (Kenya) and father to Stephanie Bochere Kakonge (Kenya); Nephew to Rachel Kasamani, Gladys Gesicho, Jane Ogora, Sakawa Ogega, Jeff Ratemo, Nyanchama Omandi, Dee Ikumu, Jane Bitonye, David Ochwang’i among others.
