On Friday, some reports surfaced online claiming that gospel artist Emmy Kosgei is leaving her husband. Kenyan Daily Post wrote that the singer secretly filed for divorce last week through her lawyer friend Ruth Sang. Apparently, Emmy cited difficulties in her marriage.
To add more to an already shitty post by an equally shitty blog, Emmy supposedly wants half of her husband’s wealth. The blog even included a false quote from Madubuko, where he categorically refused parting with his wealth.
“I won’t allow her to take half of my wealth, what I have worked for, for my entire life”
What has continued to baffle me is the number of readers who believe stories from this notorious blog. You’ll find them in the comment section.
Anyway, Emmy came out to rubbish the story.
In one Facebook reply, the gospel artist wrote.
…those are rubbish forums… Watu na fitina!” adding, “Para pararampa paaraaraa…. Ni za idlers! Tuko imara.. Happy Easter!”
She also reacted on Twitter.
Perhaps as final proof that all is well, this was Emmy’s exchange with her husband on Facebook.
