Kenyan man reported missing in Germany found dead

A Kenyan man reported missing over the weekend in Munster, Germany has been found dead.

The body of 22 year old William Ngala was recovered from a dock in a city habour at about noon on Friday. The body was recovered by police divers.

According to German website www.wn.de, a sonar boat had previously searched the water surface with sound waves and identified two possible areas where his body could be.

Upon searching the first area, the divers recovered the body of the young man. Ngala’s relatives and friends were in attendance during the recovery ad were being taken care of by the victim protection police officer.

The prosecutor in=mmediately called for an autopsy upon recovery of his body. According to authorities, the results showed that Ngala had drowned. There was no evidence of foul play according to the police.

Evidence for a third party negligence does not exist. “The police and the prosecutor go from a tragic accident,” explained Chief Prosecutor Heribert Beck.

Ngala was an actor in Münster’s theater Cactus and was with a friend at the habour when they both lost contact. He graduated high school at Paulinum High School, had played at the youth theater Cactus in several productions.

The fire department and the police had been searching for him since Tuesday afternoon while friends turned to social media for help with the search.
