Nairobi, Kenya: Murang’a Governor Mwangi Wairia has been arrested by Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission detectives over an electoral offense.
The governor failed to declare that he was convicted over a bounced cheque.

He was arrested in his office and taken to the Integrity Centre.
He tried to address journalists but was shoved inside EACC offices by the officers.
His lawyer John Ng’ang’a was also present.
