Photos:A Kenyan Burial with a difference in London

main-coffinThe remain of the body of the late Charity Wangari Gikonyo/Callagham was laid to rest in London on Wednesday 19th November, 2014. A large number of family and friends attended the send off.

Notably was the coffin of the late Charity. The coffin was engraved with photos of the late Charity all around.

The prayers started off at Our Lady of Compassion Catholic Church, Green Street, next to Westham Football Stadium in East London.

The burial followed thereafter in the afternoon at The East London Cemetery & Crematorium. The ceremony was officiated by Father Dannis Hall of Catholic Church.

While delivering the word of encouragement in the church Father Hall challenged the worshippers to ask themselves these three questions: 1) Where are you coming from? 2) Where are You at the moment and 3) Where are you going.
