Comparing what Moi did in 24 years vs what Kibaki achieved in 10, it would be expected that instead of Moi Avenue, it would be Kibaki Avenue; instead of Moi International Airport, it would be Kibaki International Airport; Kibaki Stadium instead of Nyayo Stadium; Kibaki Forces instead of Moi Forces… etc.
It appears that the little you do or are seen to do, the more glorification you seek.
Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero is not often rated among the best performing governors but it seems he has plucked a page from Moi’s playbook.
