Uhuru starts one week visit to Los Angeles

Uhuru-nys-ukPresident Uhuru Kenyatta has left for Los Angeles in California, USA to discuss investment opportunities at the 2015 Milken Institute Global Conference.

World leaders will explore solutions to challenges in financial markets, industry, health, government and education at the summit set for April 26 to 29.

“The conference aspires to increase global empowerment by advancing collaborative solutions in capital, creation of employment and improved health through independent data driven research and innovative policy initiatives,” State House spokesperson Manoah Esipisu said in a statement.

Uhuru will highlight Kenya’s position as one of the fastest growing economies and an attractive foreign investment destination. In sideline meetings, he will seek to attract private investment in infrastructure sectors including telecommunication, energy and  transport.
