The government has announced that it intends to build two new footbridges across Mombasa road. The move is meant to help pedestrians cross the busy highway and check the number of deaths occurring but Kenyans hardly use footbridges. It is a disease that plagues them everywhere a road is constructed. The unexplained desire to get to the other side of the road at any cost, even if it means paying with your life. The presence of footbridges hasn’t changed much and as you are about to see going rogue for local pedestrians has became the dangerous norm
