A colourful wedding between Miss Jamima Wambui Wairia and Mr. Kevin Gichanga Wambugu Kioi took place in London on Friday 11th April, 2014. The well attended ceremony took place at St. Paul’s Church, Woodford Bridge, London.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ayub Manje Wairia of Githunguri, Kenya and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Jimmy Wambugu Mwangi Kioi of Muranga, Kenya.
The reception followed thereafter at Krystel Banqueting Suite, in Ilford, Essex. Notably at the wedding was huge presence of bride’s family who had travelled from far and wide including USA for the occasion.
Many guests were asking Mr. Seed why the wedding took place on Friday instead of Saturday, why the wedding was taken away from PCEA Church while both parents are elders in the PCEA why the reception was by card only. Unfortunately Mr. Seed had no good answer to these questions but he commented: “Nîûkuona maingî ûtanakûra” meaning you are yet to see many things before you grow old. More later.
