The Dubai Criminal Court sentenced a Kenyan saleswoman to three months of jail for stealing garments valued at Dh3,000, in addition to robbing Dh2,000 in cash from her employer.
CKA, 25, will be deported after serving her jail term.
According to the records, JBS, 37, storekeeper noticed that the CKA was behaving strangely when she was in the shop. She decided to review the CCTV recordings.
“The camera recordings showed that on January 24, at around 7.30pm the accused sold items to customers without feeding the values in the shop’s electronic accounting system,” she testified.
