Death has occurred in UK of Mrs Ann M. Wanjiru (Mama Muthoni) a mother of five of Northolt West London. Mama Muthoni passed away on Friday the 1st of July 2011 after a long illness well borne. She was the wife of James K Wahome, mother to Brenda Muthoni, Dennis, Tracey, Lynnete and Sabrina, and grandmother to Sharmine Muthoni. She was the daughter of Mrs Jane Gakura and the late Mr Gakura of Maragi village in Muranga District. Mama Muthoni was a sister to Wangeci, Margaret, Wambui, Wakaro, Irungu, late Wamaitha and late Muthoni.
We are appealing to the Kenyan Community and others for financial support to enable us lay Mama Muthoni’s body to rest. A fund raising event has therefore been organised and set for Sunday the 10th of July 2011, starting at 15.00hrs. Venue: 14 Beauvais Terrace, Northolt, Middlesex, UB5 6JT.
