Walter Mongare arrived at Heathrow Airport, London from Kenya for the East London Concert
It is one of the largest Kenyan event to be held in East London

Kenyan popular comedian Mr. Walter Mongare Nyambane arrived in London on Saturday 15th December, 2012 for the much awaited concerts in East London. The ceremony in East London will be giving awards to Kenyans in the UK who have done something in UK this year as well as celebrating Jamhuri Day 2012. The ceremony takes place at the prestigious Royal Regency, 501 High Street North, London E12 6TH as from 6.00 p.m. going to up to 4.00 a.m. on Sunday morning. Kenya’s High Commissioner in the UK HE Joseph Ngare and the Kenya’s Minister for Housing Hon Soita Shitanda MP EGH will be in attendance as guests of honours. The ceremony kicks off with a dinner. Due to the public demand the prices have been reduced to £30 from £50 as from 5.00 p.m. and £15 as from 11.00 p.m. No dinner for the £15. The prestigious hall can hold more than 1,000 guest seated and more than 1,500 seated. Guest singers at the ceremony will be Kenyan Gospel Artist Paul Mwai among others.
