NTV’s Larry Madowo tells S.K. Macharia to Apologise to Kenyans for taking Political sides

Tuesday, February 19, 2013 – When S. K. Macharia was publicly appointed to Raila’s CORD Summit, it was like declaring that he and his diverse network of radio and TV stations will support CORD flag bearer Raila Odinga.

After the move Kenyans have branded the media house and largely Citizen TV as biased as portrayed by heir dissemination which is one of the most watched TV stations in Kenya.
The station has even gone forth to give Jubilee Coalition a semi-blackout. Today it was even indicated that the station has been pushing Jubilee’s advertisements to past 10 p.m. against their agreement with the advertiser.
To add salt to injury, yesterday the station barred immediate former Mukurwe-ini legislator Kabando wa Kabando from appearing on TV and lied to Kenyans that he was late while he was being held hostage at one of their waiting rooms.
Following the whirlwind of events, NTV’s Larry Madowo has advised Macharia to kindly apologize to Kenyans and quit politics as this may bring down the media house which was once touted as the most lucrative station.
