Word of the Day:Out of Gas!

There comes a time you feel like life is taking you at a speed you can barely handle. Your career starts to rise faster than you can catch up with, your kids out grow you, they start questioning your decisions and you run out of answers to all their questions. Then suddenly you and your spouse start reading from a different script. Your energy starts to fade and you start operating on reserved energy, your body grows weary and your gas runs out, your tank finally runs empty.

These are some of the rough patches that we go through in life, even the Psalmist at some point felt the same (Psalms 119:28 I am weary from grief, strengthen me through your word). Just like the Psalmist take a break reflect on God and ask him to strengthen you with his word. Ask yourself how much time have I been spending with God, have I been busy giving Him excuses as to why I cannot spend time with Him and excluded Him from my day to day life.

Examine your life and see if you have deviated from God’s original plan and trying to run your life by your own power and might. Ask God to renew your strength, then sit back and see Him give you a brand new look and energy. Yes your gas might be running out but for sure God is taking control of it all, so be still.

Isaiah 40:31:But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
