Very interesting,He married a third wife for the Community:The Rongo MP Dalmas Otieno officially introduced his third wife to his constituents at the weekend. Dalmas said he married Dorothy Okello, the Homa Bay executive for tourism, culture and sports, so he can reach youths in development.
Speaking to Rongo residents, Okello said she will help unite Homa Bay and Migori counties in development. The two toured North Kamagambo ward in Rongo, Migori county and West Gem ward in Rangwe, Homa Bay county. They were accompanied by Indian investors who want to start a new sugar mill at Riana in Homa Bay.Dalmas married Okello in a private traditional ceremony on July 20 and only selected guests were invited.
Homa Bay Governor Cyprian Awiti, Senator Otieno Kajwang, and several wards representatives from Homa Bay and Migori counties attended the wedding.
During the function Kajwang, who represented Okello’s father, handed her officially to Dalmas after a bride price of 46 cattle and Sh40,000 was paid.
