ICC Chief Prosecutor Fatou Bensouda says the court will implement all resolutions adopted at the Assembly of State Parties (ASP).

She says the assembly is supreme and its decisions have to be implemented by officials of the court.

The assembly amended rules of procedures and evidence which will allow  President Uhuru and his Deputy William Ruto to be represented by their lawyers at their trials at The Hague.

Bensouda who was speaking to journalists at the Hague said it was unfortunate that the court had not been understood properly yet its interventions in Africa had helped to maintain security and stability
