The Birir family deeply regrets to inform friends and family of the untimely passing on of Ms. Carolyne Jepkosgei Birir, on Tuesday November 26, 2013 at 5:20pm following a short but brave battle with Lung Cancer.
She was 47 years old. Beloved daughter of Mrs. Neddy Birir and the late Mr. Edward Birir. Devoted mother to Jill Jeruto Birir, Kathleen Simaton Birir (Sima) and Cybil Jeptepkeny Kechem (Tete). Loving sister to the late Ronald Birir, Ben Birir, Jackson Birir, Robert Birir, The late Patricia Birir, Joseph Birir, Kenneth Birir, Bill Birir, Byron Birir and Bryton Birir. Beloved aunt, cousin and niece to many in Kenya & the United States; including Susan &Nicholas Chemoiwa, Christine, Gloria & Valentine Sakwa in Maryland and Nathan Ngetuny in Boston, Massachusetts.
Friends and family are meeting daily at her apartment 435 West Diamond Apt# 201 Gaithersburg, Maryland at 5-9pm.
A Memorial / fundraiser service is scheduled to take place on Saturday December 7th 2013 at DFI Church in Silver Spring, Maryland.details to follow.
