Deputy President William Ruto left the country this morning to attend his trial at the International Criminal Court
Ruto had been excused from attending the proceedings while President Uhuru Kenyatta was out of the country to attend the Africa-Arab Summit in Kuwait.
President Kenyatta arrived in the country last night to pave the way for his Deputy to attend his trial at the Hague which resumes today.
