Comedian Walter Mong’are AKA Nyambane Joins Politics

Comedian Nyambane has joined the growing list of entertainers joining politics. During a dinner sponsored by vice president Kalonzo Musyoka in London recently, Nyambane revealed of his ambition, adding that every human being has political interest in them.

Nyambane was the MC during Wiper’s National Delegates Conference at Kasarani, where Kalonzo was nominated for the top seat. Nyambane had earlier met Kalonzo where he was reportedly given a return ticket to the UK, to addressed Kenyans living there.

He is expected to contest for a parliamentary seat in Kisii, most probably under the wiper ticket.

Nyambane joins gospel singer Ringtone, who joined politics some time back, but fared badly during a by election. He is expected to shift his base to Kawangware in Nairobi, where he will vie for the member of parliament seat. Man Ingwe, famous for his smash hit ‘Ugali Sosa’ has also showed interest in joining politics.

Singer Jaguar: Am Not Uhuru Advisor on Youth Affairs, Just a friend!

Jaguar has refuted claims appearing on Nairobi News newspaper on Monday that he is now a presidential adviser. The paper had reported that the singer makes monthly visits to the house on the hill, with the last one being three weeks ago.

Apparently, Jaguar together with Ringtone have been advising President Uhuru on youth affairs.

The ‘Kioo’ hit maker took to Facebook to refute the claims, saying that he only visits State House as a personal friend of the president.

In response to articles stating that I’m the the President’s youth advisor/ ambassador; my visit(s) to State House are solely to see His Excellency as a personal friend.
