There is victory in surrender when we are conquered by Christ. How true! In the book of Genesis, it seems as though almost every character mentioned had a flaw. The book is filled with themes ranging from jealousy, anger, violence and deception. Even the heroes praised in Hebrews 11 displayed their flawed characters.
However, even with all these flawed characters, God did not leave them that way but changed them when He met with them. Look at Jacob. His name meant deceiver however when he met the Lord, his name was changed to Israel marking a spiritual turning point in his life.
God doesn’t give up on us therefore; we should not give up on ourselves. Wait on God and see what His strong hands will do to mould you into a new creation! Don’t look at your failures and condemn yourself rather bring yourself to the foot of Christ who changes us and makes us new!
