Amazing:Kenyan farmers off to Zimbabwe for training

A group of farmers have been sponsored for a one-month training in Zimbabwe in a bid to address food security in Nyandarua county.

And it was song and dance as the 25 farmers received their travel documents in Kinangop on Saturday.

The training begins early next month.The Sh12.5 million project is sponsored by 410 Bridge International, an NGO.

Bridge CEO Andrew Muiruri said: “We expect the farmers to leave early next week for the training.

A group from Sultan Hamud has already benefitted from this programme.”
