When God chose to bless you

0
Today, while driving through Minnesota roads, four passages came into memory. Which ones?
“By me kings reign and rulers issue decrees that are just; by me princes govern, and nobles—all who rule on earth. I love those who love me, and those who seek me find me. (Proverbs 8:15-17)
“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” (Matthew 6:33)
“ For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11)
“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” (Hebrews 11:6)
The Bible has got plenty of stories to back up what the above passages are saying. When God chose to bless one, He does it in such a manner that it leaves no doubts in the minds of some Thomas’s that it’s all God’s doing. No one, and I repeat, no one will stop that which the Lord intends to do on a certain individuals. I will cite three Biblical examples.
1.      Remember Joseph, the son of Jacob? His own brothers hated him so much that they wanted to kill him. They opted for a less cruel means by selling him. They did not want to hear of his nonsense utterances that he would be their leader. What made a difference in the life of Joseph was God’s presence that superseded their anger and animosity(Genesis chapter 37 onward)
2.Remember the little boy named David. God picked him from obscurity and prepared him to be the king despite the fact that his father, siblings and Saul thought otherwise. The book of Psalms tells us that David had so many enemies who were after his life day and night but the good Lord took care of him
3.Remember the Hebrew worthies (Daniel, Shadrack, Abdnego and Meshack?) Their enemies wanted them destroyed. They laid traps to entangle them but the good Lord found a way out for them
Listen, I don’t care what your past has been. If you choose God today, He will sure turn your life around. He will bless you in ways that you have never imagined. Why not try Him today?
Even so bless us today dear Lord.
