3 Suspects In Gikomba Blast Arrested

Police now say they have discovered the two blasts that killed 10 people at Gikomba market in Nairobi on Friday, were caused by improvised explosive devices.

Inspector general of Police David Kimaiyo said police have arrested three suspects, who are helping with investigations.

Nairobi County Police Commandant Benson Kibue has urged Kenyans to be more alert and report any suspicious characters.

Kibue also asked people to avoid over-crowded places.

This comes after over 70 people were also injured, in the explosions.
