A Kajiado chief was produced in court but failed to take the plea in a 28 million shillings land case. Simon Letiya Kirati, chief of Lentoko location in Kajiado county allegedly signed on behalf of land owners who obtained the cash from a USA based businessman in exchange for a piece of land that had already been sold to someone else.
