Video:Girl who impressed President Kenyatta receives full primary & secondary school scholarship

Emilly Wanjiru, first came into the limelight after reciting a poem before the president during the 2014 Kenya national drama festival.

On 23rd July 2014, the six year old reported at her new school in Embu county.

The girl had received a full scholarship that would see her through to her secondary education.

NTV’s Sharon Barang’a had that inspiring story of a girl’s life that had transformed thanks to her talent.
