My family and I are currently reading through the book of Isaiah.

Isaiah 6:8 challenged me;

Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying:

“Whom shall I send?”

Nations are crying. Scrambles everywhere. Terrorism every corner. Whom shall I send?

The poor are crying. Injustice, corruption, discrimination. There is no one to plead for their case, whom shall I send?

They youths are lost. Immorality is the order of the day. Disrespect, ignorance. Whom shall I send?

Leadership has fallen, the ungodly all over top positions, followers led astray, whom shall I send?

Many have despaired, there is no hope for tomorrow. They need hope, whom shall I send?

The end of days is at hand, not all have heard of the good news of Christ, whom shall I send?

False prophets roaming, misleading souls. God’s children are quiet and watching, whom shall I send?

I want the small children to come to me, no one to guide them. Whom shall I send?

The deaf can see my great works, the blind can hear of my goodness. I need someone to shine my light unto them, whom shall I send?

Whom shall I send?

To liberate the world, to speak healing to the sick, to show compassion and speak for the voiceless, to save souls, to preach the good news? Whom? Whom?
